Swiss skier Daniel Albrecht injured himself during a downhill course in Kitzbuehel, Austria on January 22. He lost control and flew through the air for about 40 meters (yards) coming to a stop near the finish line. He received medical attention for several minutes before being airlifted by helicopter to a local hospital.

First, the criminal was pursued by the police by car, then he stopped, got off his car and started to shoot the policemen.
In a few minutes he was wounded and arrested.
He died on the way to hospital.
