I'm not in favor of capital punishment as we know it in the USA; where it's supposedly a deterrent. It's not a deterrent, it's REVENGE. State sponsored revenge, just like these pics show. So I think executions SHOULD be public...if you want em, take some responsibility for it. If somebody killed a member of my family, I would want the option of PERSONALLY beating them to death with a baseball bat. In public. I don't think I would do it, but I think it's more fitting than lethal injection. F&CK lethal injection, YOU ARE KILLING THEM...it's ALREADY cruel and unusual. If you're going to do it, make it count.

He had no call to homosexually assault a boy and then kill him -all fcor no good reason. This execution was justified. The trend towards making it painless is curious -the purpose of executions was once to inflict as much pain & suffering on the condemned,as possible, and to do it publically to deter such outrages in the future.

i think anybody who says that punishment was wrong and cruel, obviously has no concept of the pain and suffering that his young victim went through. i think a quick shooting was too good for him. they should have cut his genitals off, fed them to him, then jammed a red hot poker up his ass before shooting him. then he would have some idea how his victim felt.
