the guy must be the most resilient bastard in the world if he could just casually set himself ablaze and the contemplate for a while..it got really disturbing after a while and i bet people thought it was a stunt

He was probably on some really good drugs. There are forms of acid out there that will numb you so much that you could pretty much do open heart surgery on yourself without feeling anything. That's what I'd do anyway. Climb up to the top, dope myself up so high that I'm near death anyway, then light myself on fire. It would definitely make the news. Hopefully whoever he was trying to get the attention of saw that.
