It's not hte Canadians that are ugly. It's the protesters, claiming that they are having a peaceful protest,. Can't tell you the last time lighting police cars on fire, destroying businesses, and spray painting buildings equated to anything PEACEFUL!

All the serious damage was done by a few hundred violent infiltrators who dress all in black and are cowards who cover their faces and hid behind the protesters who had rightful causes. The thousands of other legitimate protesters' messages and causes were lost because of this "Black Bloc" group of anarchist violent vandals, a loosely organized group of creeps who were responsible for nearly all the damage and violence. Not to mention the cops who used a hastily drawn up law that allowed them to abuse what we Canadians feel are our civil rights of assembly for protest. Many innocents were arrested and injured by police as a result. The G20 should never have been held in downtown Toronto - an Army base would have been much more fitting for a safe venue. And the media relished the violence. Sick journalists.

Since when does it matter where they hold the G20 conference? Why should they be limited to a military base??? Freedom? Where is the freedom when one group starts telling the government where to hold their meetings???

@ Iron Horse - if you really want to know the answer to your question - take the time to read these 3 articles from the Toronto Star - Feel free to invite the G20 conference to your city. Toronto will never allow this to happen again. And I say to you - freedom is being able to say "keep your G20 out of my city. Send it to Iron Horse's - he would welcome it." At a military base the destructive "black bloc" would then not be allowed to trash the city that you live in.

BroncoXXXII,
Shit for brains, the protesters are Canadian. Ah Duh!

Lets have a protest. Fine that's a great idea to stand up for your rights.

Lets start fires, destroy public property, create anarchy, mayhem and then allow photos to be taken so that the police have a reference as to what you look like not to mention evidence in a court of law so they can send your ass to jail where you can protest the daily gang rapes. Hmmm, yes please, I'll take 2!

Sadly it looks as if the police themselves may have posed as protesters and caused the damage...... go to you tube and search this G20 Toronto Black Block get green light to rampage?
