Fuck those cops? Fuck you, my brother was shot and killed while making a routine traffic stop. The lady was an illegal alien and was afraid of being deported. When the police act like this it is usually because they feel their lives are threated and people like you guys telling others to "Cap them", go to hell. I hope you never have to live through what I did, actually I hope you uneducated morons do go through losing a loved one because of some crazy protestor. fuck

NORTH PROVIDENCE — The group that staged Saturday’s protest march in which a 22-year-old woman suffered a broken leg while being arrested by the police has invited members from across the Northeast to join another march down the center of Mineral Spring Avenue to call attention to what it says is the “prevalence of police brutality” in Rhode Island.

Officer Mark M. Mastin goes on to describe the scene when the crowd brushed past him in front of Luca Music:

“At this point I turned to see a white female with a bucket tied around her neck and holding drumsticks. She pushed Patrolman [Jeffrey D.] Antonelli with both hands holding the drumsticks and said {expletive} Don’t put your hands on me. At this point Ptm. Antonelli and I tried to grab the suspect by the arms. The crowd of demonstrators pulled her body out of our reach and back into the crowd. I saw this female standing at the rear of the crowd, so I circled around the ground. Ptm. [William J.] Shurick and I grabbed a hold of the suspect and advised her that she was being placed under arrest. She pulled her hands away and started swinging the drumsticks screaming [expletive]. As I tried to grab her arms she swung the drumsticks hitting our arms. In fear of our safety, we immediately grabbed her arms again and tried to take her into custody.

she could have behaved herself and avioded the whole mess. people of quality very rarely get arrested and when they do it goes smoothly. she is probably just garbage and relished the attention. being a the center of THIS attention was probably the high point of her life.

there are some good, decent cops out there.... but there are A LOT of crooked cops too... I know a couple of good ones, and they are amazing guys, but BUT ive dealt with some assholes, half wit, no brains... i wondered how the hell they became cops, no idea though...

There is no excuse for police brutality. None what so ever. It is the same power trip it has always been. Got badge, do whatever you want. This is the thought process and yes, I do know cops. Not a one of them would I invite for a moment in my house because they are corrupted by power.

She hit a cop. Bad choice. She was placed under arrest. She fought them. Second bad choice. She kept fighting until she ended up with a broken leg. Another bad choice. Then, the attention of the cops was pulled away from her because of the ''gang'' mentality. Bad choice. If they had walked away and she hadn't fought the cops, I dare say NONE of this would have happened.

There would NEVER be any chance of police brutality if people simply obeyed the laws of the land. And, when a policeman gives an instruction, FOLLOW IT, no matter what. Dumb bastards are the cause of police brutality. And, it doesn't come from the police side.

Pretty safe bet the officers are not aware of the broken. Apparently she had assaulted a police officer, sorry but that is asking for an ass kicking. I also see that the other protestors, particularly the young man in red, are behaving aggressively and several of them have signs or flags on wooden poles that could easily be used as a club. Hit a cop, or anyone else for that matter, expect to get roughed up in return.
