This stuff is in the news every day - people are not learning from history or from other peoples mistakes - bullets only work part of the time - the UN stuff needs real teeth, better funding and once commited; there own chain of command thats stops when the problem is fixed

Not just that, too many countries are unwilling to commit themselves to these trouble
spots. Political hot potatoes especially when people come home in bodybags.

Not to mention that the UN is as filled with greedy little liars and cheats that it can't be trusted. When was the last time they were successful??? The U.N., not the United States with another 2% that they called U.N. which was also 50% U.S.??? So, for every 100 troops, 99 were from the United States. The other one from anywhere.
