Following in the footsteps of Mike Tyson: Fighter J-Taro bit off an opponent's ear

During the fight, "J-Taro" Takita lost control of himself and bit off a piece of ear of his opponent Shigeyuki Uchiyama.
Uchiyama was taken to hospital with a torn piece, but it is unknown whether the doctors could sew it back or not.

That never happened. It was a freak accident in a sanctioned MMA fight. What REALLY happened was that Uchiyama went for a double leg takedown and somehow his overly swollen cauliflower ear got caught in the ropes and ripped off. No one bit him.

This is a great site but all of these MMA pics with captions like this one or the "No rules fights" are plain BS.
