Plane Crash in New York

Shortly after the take-off, the jet Airbus A320 with 155 passangers on its board made an emergency landing in the Hudson River, in New York.
It seems that the cause of the accedent is a flock of birds that the plane flew into.
The effective and efficient work of emergency workers resulted in keeping the death toll at zero.
About 30 persons were injured but none of them seriously.
Many credit the quick thinking of the plane's chief officer, Chesley B. Sulllenberger III, for the plane's relatively safe landing.

Last Saturday during the anti-Israel demonstration in Oslo 130 people were arrested for mass rioting. One of the left-wing groups participated in the protest and riots. Several McDonald's were attacked, supposedly for supporting Israel.
McDonald's denies the claims.

A Fiery Truck Crash

A fiery truck crash happened on Monday, December 14 underneath the Florida turnpike after pickup ran the stop sign and cut-off a semi truck carrying a load of flammable cooking spray.
The truck caught fire and it shut down both CR-561 and the northbound side of the Turnpike.
Furthermore, this crash caused another crash - a fire truck tanker rushing to help slid off the road and rolled over.
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. But the country road and the turnpike are closed now and it will cost 1.5 million to fix all road damages.

A terrorist group made a train collision in India

In eastern India, a passenger train derailed after it crashed into a freight train, coming in the opposite direction.
More than 100 people were killed. More than 140 people were injured, many of them are in critical condition.

Plane crash in India

The plane landed, but the pilot lost control on the runway. The plane rolled out of runway boundaries, broke in two and caught fire killing 159 people. Photos are very graphic, be careful.
